FUTURE
FORM VS FUNCTION

I think that form without function results in cheap thrills, whereas function without form generally results in user indifference.  If we question the functionality of conventional forms, we will find new and exciting designs rooted in improved function.

CONTEXTUALISM

An architect should always consider the buildings of yesterday, but he should never design one.  Instead, a design should compliment its neighbor while also being complimented by it.

SUSTAINABILITY

I believe that architects have the power to facilitate sustainability. If buildings are built mindfully and operate efficiently, then its occupants will unknowingly and inherently be more sustainable.

AFFORDABILITY

Our world would benefit significantly from good design, but if it isn't affordable, then it simply won't be built.  It should be accessible to the masses, not just the wealthy for private use.

DELIVERY

I have witnessed the possibility for inefficiencies within traditional project delivery methods.  A successful project requires a focus on efficiency, collaboration, and communication.
